What Does Sponsorship Mean? There are many costs associated with running a FIRST team. From building the robot to participating in events, yearly costs can run upwards of $25K+. However, teams also need other resources, such as mentors, raw materials, and other hardware and tools. Providing or donating any of these items constitutes as sponsorship. Learn more about different types of sponsorship below.
Why Sponsor? Our team provides a platform for students interested in STEM to gain experience in technical fields. For students who were not previously interested in STEM, the program acts as a gateway to STEM. Students participating in this competition are able to promote and spread awareness of STEM education and are able to interact with more experienced teams and learn from them. As the students learn, they are able to set realistic goals and practice good sportsmanship for the team.
Why Is Our Team Unique?
We are extremely passionate in pursuing engineering, circuitry, computer programming, and design. By supporting us and helping to provide the necessary resources to compete and create a robot, you are giving us the experience needed to pursue STEM-related careers.
